New Year Off the Starboard Bow!
So in a couple of days, the new year will begin. Chad and I will hopefully get some things going on our own wedding. Dammit, it will be over and done with by this time next year. We already have our music for the reception lined up. Chad's dad is graciously insisting on playing for our reception. I have a few other connections to hook up yet. So far this whole wedding planning thing is looking easy. Perhaps too easy. We will be attending a wedding expo in Green Bay on the 6th and then running with the planning from there. Right now the months of August and October are looking most probable. July is out due to someone else's wedding and Chad's birthday is in that month. September is out due to a cousin's wedding. May and June would be pushing it a bit. We pretty much have our guest list finalized as far as Chad and myself are concerned. My mother and grandmother may have something to add to that.
Goals for the upcoming year:
1. Plan wedding
2. Get married
3. Drop 2 more jean sizes (dropped one this year!) preferably before Katie's wedding. (I have DDR, an exercise ball and some weighs now... no more excuses!)
4. Clean and MAINTAIN the cleanliness in the house. (God, no one visit us for a few weeks please!)
5. Get a new job
6. Buy a house???
7. If number 6 is completed, get a dog. Or two.
8. Buy a couch for said house as well.

I like number 7. Sadly, it almost sounds like you've got more lined up for your wedding than I do. Chris and I have to get it into gear. I'm hoping next week will help...a lot.
