Life's Insane and So Are We

It's That Time of Year

The weather as of late has been wonderful and that means that I can finally get in more walks with Erik. Last week we took a 2 mile walk, which in retrospect was a bit much for me to start off with. Oh well. I did feel good afterward, if not a bit sore. The only problem I'm having is trying to schedule the walk. I should probably do it before I take my shower for the day (which is usually around lunch time when Chad is home.) But since daylight savings went into effect, Erik's been a lazy boy, sometimes not waking up until 10:30am. Not too say that's an overly bad thing; it does mean that I get to sleep in as well. And then once he's awake, changed, fed and then dressed for the day, it's usually close to noon, and I like to be around for when Chad comes home. Then around 1pm Chad goes back to work and Erik goes down for his nap and then sleeps until 3ish. Then it's time for a late lunch and time for me to get ready for work at 4. See the dilemma? Hopefully Erik's schedule will adjust soon and we can go on more walks.

The reason for this small tirade? I'm sick of having to shop for clothes in the Women's or Plus Size section. I'm just over the line between regular and plus size, and I have lost about 4 pounds since I bought I bathroom scale in February. I'm hoping that when I go shopping for some spring/summer clothes tomorrow that perhaps I could venture back into the "regular" clothes. *Sigh* Sometimes it's hard to believe that 5 years ago I was a size 8. What I wouldn't give to fit back into my pre-pregnancy size 14. Hopefully someday soon.
