I Hope This Doesn't Suck

According to a story I saw linked on Slashdot, my good friend, and yours, George Lucas is making a Star Wars TV show to be directed by Kevin Smith and Lucas will just be the executive producer. I predict this will go one of two ways. Either (A) it will rock and be awesome and have a good storyline, something like KOTOR or (B) it will suck and greatly disappoint fans.

Attention George Lucas

Please stop fucking with your masterpiece!! Oh, and next time you release this trilogy, change the song at the end of Return of the Jedi back to the original. Thank you.

Mama's Got A Brand New Game

I got Fable! And it's pretty awesome so far. I guess a way to describe it would be your classic RPG plus The Sims. I'm really not that far into it, but from what I've played, I like it. That's really all for right now. I have to go take a nap while Erik's asleep. Stupid allergies.

Mama Needs a New Video Game

Today the X-Box game Fable was released. And I do not have it in my possession...yet. I have been anxiously awaiting this game for quite some time. It's somewhat like SW:KOTOR, and by that I mean that every action has an influence on who you become. This RPG seems highly detailed. Battles will give you scars, spending time in the sun will tan your skin, spending time in the moonlight will bleach it white. By the way this game sounds, even crushing a flower under your boot could change the course of your life. If you have an X-Box, perhaps you should at least rent it and give it a try. Once I acquire this title, I'll make sure to let y'all know how cool it is.

Movin' On Up To the Third Floor

Well, we've moved. Ugh. The next time I frickin' move it'll be into a house where there will be a basement and we won't have to be too creative in how we store our stuff. The new apartment is nice, much larger than our former place of residence. We're still putting stuff away and hopefully it'll be mostly done by tomorrow night. Erik has his own room now and is finally in his crib. He's making good use out of the extra sleeping space too. Last night before Chad and I went to bed, we discovered that he managed to turn himself 180 degrees so that his head was where his feet should be.

What's really nice about where our apartment is that we don't face the parking lot anymore. So no more horn honking at 2am waking us up, nor do we have to deal with loud, crappy music blasting from car stereos or loud people. Granted, we face a busier street now, but that doesn't bother me. We also get a nice breeze which helps reduce the amount of time our AC is on, therefore reducing our energy bill. W00t to that. The one thing that bothers me about this apartment is that even though our kitchen is larger, the cupboard space is less. There's no drawer for our silverware. That's annoying. So right now it's sitting on our counter waiting for us to by a little storage unit for it and any bread we have around since Wicket has developed a taste for it. He'll tear open the bags and take bites out of it. Argh. Anyone want a cat?
