Just To Let You Know

Erik does not have juvenile diabetes. The doctor thinks that it's just a prolonged growth spurt, however we'll continue to watch how much he drinks and if it continues into September, then they will do a blood draw (this time it was a urine test). So far so good.

A job is still to be had, however it seems as if opportunities are more and more promising with each interview. I'm also working with a few staffing agencies, but some of them don't seem to understand that my minimum salary is the absolute minimum I can take. Sigh... otherwise I would have a job by now. We have started to check out potential daycare providers so we'll be able to line something up ASAP when I do get hired somewhere.

My mom's house is now on the market, so Chad and I have started to look into housing in the Appleton area. That will probably be easier than finding a job.

If It Isn't One Thing....

Tomorrow Erik has to go to the doctor to be treated for juvenile diabetes. I'm trying not to worry about it, I'm hoping that the test will just give me peace of mind and nothing else, but when you know that he's displaying at least 3 symptoms and there's a family history on both sides, it's a little concerning. Today he ate more before his afternoon nap than I will all day. However, if he does have it, it'll just have to be dealt with. There's nothing we could do to change it. There are worse diseases and conditions out there.

V

Saw V for Vendetta last night. Loved it. Definately want to see it again. I will be buying the DVD and quite possibly seeing it again in the theatre. If anybody in GB is going to see it...call me.

"Did you steal these things?
"No, that implies ownership. I merely reclaimed them."
