All Quiet on the Job Front

Well, not completely. I had an interview last week and I have yet to hear anything about how well that turned out. I have a phone interview on Monday with the De Pere School District. So it isn't completely quiet...more like a whisper, or something.

Today Goblet of Fire opens. Chad and I purchased tickets last week with some of my birthday money. I took the time to reread GoF this week and I am excited to see this one. GoF is my favorite book of the series, and, according to critics, the movie is the best one yet. I hope they're right.

Thanksgiving is less than a week away. My mom will have a full house this year. Aside from my mom, Chad, Erik and myself, my brother will be in attendance, along with my uncle and aunt, Chad's mom, brother and sister. Got to get a grocery list together. Thankfully my uncle and aunt are in volunteered to bring the turkey.

Now it is time to get into the shower before Crabby-Boy-With-Diaper-Rash wakes up.

Happy Rockin' Birthday

So yesterday was my birthday. 25th Birthday to be exact. The number doesn't bother me one bit. For those who know me personally, my birthday usually arrives with much fanfare, however, this year was not like that at all. I do believe it was because I'm just grateful to have another birthday. Having that P.E. back in May really changed how I look at things. Nothing like a few doctors telling you that you're lucky to be alive to have that happen.

Chad and Erik got me Jade Empire for the Xbox. Haven't cracked it open yet, mainly due to the fact that I bought Guitar Hero with the money I received and Chad and I have not given the PS2 a break since we brought that sucker home. I highly recommend this game to anyone. I would imagine it's a great party game. Chad's much better at it than I am, but he's been playing the guitar since he was like, i don't know, five....so that's probably why.

Well, my turn to pick up the guitar. "Smoke on the Water" here I come.

The Hunt Continues

So yeah, I'm still unemployed. GBSO didn't work out, which is fine, whatever. If someone was more qualified, good for them. With the holidays approaching, I have been plastering my name all over Bay Park Square. I know that for Kohl's and Children's Place that those are temporary positions, not sure about GameStop. Today I also applied to be an assistant manager at Hot Topic. I like 95% or so of the music that they play in the store, so why not, I think it would be a cool place to work. The somewhat funny part about that is that I was listening to Josh Groban while I was applying online. Not exactly the type of music found in Hot Topic, but hey, I'm eclectic.

Also, for now, all spam comments will be deleted. If the spamming gets worse...well, I'll figure out something.
Seriously....

You know, I'd really like to know why my blog as been getting spammed lately. Anyone have any idea on how to prevent this? The only solution I can think of would be to remove comments, however, I really do not want to do that. Just one more thing....
